QBXNet is a startup incubator from Switzerland with its main business office located in Berlin, Germany. We collaborate closely with our entrepreneurial clients to make exploratory and exciting projects in web, mobile and AR/VR happen. Our goal is to provide a platform to implement business ideas fastly and with exceptional quality.

For our headquarters in Berlin, we are looking for a UI/UX designer with 3-5 years of experience to lead our UI/UX department. You will be the design spokesperson and will serve as a connection point between our design team in Lahore and our business team in Berlin. Your responsibilities will range from creating designs by yourself to communicating design requirements to our development team in Lahore and guiding them through relevant processes, as well as coming up with designs ideas for client projects in a short period of time.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Creation of design prototypes both by yourself and together with our design team
  • Delegation of design-related tasks to our team in Lahore, Pakistan
  • Direct communication with clients to communicate design needs, manage client expectations, and provide valuable input
  • Bringing your own ideas to the table in projects where designs have not been pre-conceptualized

Requirements

  • Strong drive & motivation for starting and growing new businesses
  • Previous experience in leading design teams
  • Experience in working with and managing technical teams
  • 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX Design and Usability Testing
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Balsamiq, Invision
  • Willingness to work in a small and dynamic team
  • Openness to new challenges and risk taking mentality
  • Previous exposure to and interest in technologies
  • Fluency in English

CG Artist

As a CG Artist you will be working closely with the 3D Art Team for realizing aesthetically marvelous VR apps. Your job requires a very good knowledge of modeling and texturing 3D characters and environments. Experience in game level design and on PC Games are a plus.

Technical Artist

As a Technical Artist you will be working closely with the CG Art and Technical Team for improving the real-time visual look and feel of our VR Apps and Games. This position requires an in-depth knowledge about Unity3D's art pipeline as well as working with different lighting and shading techniques. Experience in PC Games and an exceptional design sense is a plus.

As a Shader Programmer you will be working closely with the Technical Art Team as well as working independently to create and implement graphics shaders for VR Apps and Games. The position requires an excellent understanding of OpenGL, C++ and experience in other low level languages. Knowledge of DirectX and Particle Engines is a plus.
