For our development hub in Lahore, we are looking for a great Unity Developer to join our existing team and help them build amazing virtual reality applications. You will be part of the projects from assisting in the collaboration with design and architecture to testing and maintaining across our diverse work portfolio – but your greatest contribution will lie in the development work itself. To be both successful and have fun in this position, you have to be a team player with both a strong background in unity development and a creative mindset.

Primary Responsibilities

  • You will build amazing VR games and experiences
  • Help develop flexible tools, pipeline and workflow for game engine projects
  • Support multiple game engine projects for a variety of delivery platforms
  • Assist with asset integration into game engine, balancing artistic integrity and performance
  • Assist with development & maintenance of technical design documentation
  • Provide & assist in the generation of accurate development time estimates
  • Constantly explore, test, and evaluate new optimization and quality improvement techniques
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplined (Art, Animation, TD, Production, etc,) team, including off-site members

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Unity and C# scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, user session management, etc.
  • Direct experience with game physics and particle systems
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, physics and math
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of game engine shader creation, texturing and lighting
  • Experience with version control software
  • Quick to pick up new tools and systems
  • Must love to roll-up your sleeves and get dirty with Unity3D; integrating textures, meshes, adjusting lighting, setting camera angles, optimization, audio integration etc.

Bonus Capabilities

  • Experience with C++ programming language and debugging
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and blueprint programming
  • Experience with iPhone and Android game development.
  • Prior experience in a well-known mobile title or AAA titles are a significant asset

Your Profile

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of game developments / standards
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team
  • Able to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

As a CG Artist you will be working closely with the 3D Art Team for realizing aesthetically marvelous VR apps. Your job requires a very good knowledge of modeling and texturing 3D characters and environments. Experience in game level design and on PC Games are a plus.
